| Information: | The school building was purchased in 1991 by a group of Cosgrove area citizens, and The Cosgrove Institute was organized in 1992. First the building was repaired and restored using funds from renting out the classrooms as studios. Sports teams rent the Gym for practice, and the Gym and the associated kitchen are used for wedding receptions, family reunions. The Kitchen and the library can be rented for smaller groups. The Cosgrove institute also runs an annual Pheasant hunt to raise additional funds for scholarships, and for an occasional disabled neighbor. |
