| Information: | Although our group is licensed by the State of Iowa as an animal shelter, we do not operate an animal sheltering facility. Instead, we recruit foster caregivers who take companion animals into their private homes until permanent homes are found. In addition, we provide resources, referrals, and help with adoption/re-homing, feral cats, spay/neuter, animal behavior, lost/found animals, abuse/cruelty/neglect concerns, living with wildlife, pet loss, cruelty-free living, animal advocacy and legislation, and care of companion animals. We provide some spay/neuter financial support for individuals who qualify. We also help support several managed feral cat colonies. |
