Altered Books - Exhibit & Silent Auction
Come see the incredibly creative artwork that began life as a book! Be the top bidder and take home your treasure from our newest fundraiser for the Iowa City Public Library.
The third annual "Altered Books" fundraiser for the Iowa City Public Library is scheduled for Friday evening, June 5, 2009. The Altered Books Auction will be held in conjunction with the Iowa Arts Festival in downtown Iowa City, Iowa. Questions may be directed to the Development Office of the Iowa City Public Library at 319.356.5249 or email development@icpl.org.

We don’t make candy bars or tractors, but tere are a lot of interesting things that go into making Library services go. Ever wonder how materials are purchased and made ready for check-out, how programs are produced for The Library Channel, how Library computers know when your Internet time is up or where materials go after they’re picked up at the book-drop at HyVee?
