- Exit 218 at Highway 1 (exit 91) and head northeast towards Iowa City, staying in the left lane.
- At the intersection of Highway 1 and South Riverside Drive, turn left onto Riverside and head north towards downtown, staying in the right lane.
- The 2nd main intersection is the intersection of Riverside and Burlington Street.
- Turn right onto Burlington and head east towards downtown, staying in the left hand lane.
- At the intersection of Burlington and South Dubuque Street, you will see the Sheraton Hotel on the left, and a city parking ramp.
- This ramp is the North West corner of Burlington and Linn Street.
- The Library is at 123 South Linn Street, one half block to the north of the Linn St. ramp entrance.
