Wonder Wednesdays : Minecraft Jr.

Come enjoy an hour of Minecraft for the game's youngest fans. Meet other fans of your favorite game. We will play on the computers in the computer lab. Music on Wednesday @ICPL/Weber Days: Old Post Office Brass

"Old Post Office Brass" reflects the home base in the Senior Center, formerly the Iowa City Post Office, and is a part of the New Horizons Band. This traditional brass quintet (two trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba) performs a large variety of music, including classical, ragtime, Dixieland and popular (show tunes, etc.) for a variety of audiences in different venues.

Weber Days: Animals Spell Love Storytime with Iowa author David Cundy

Meet David Cundy, creator of "Animals Spell Love," at the library and hear him describe how the animals in his book use their movements, colors, and attributes to artistically spell the word LOVE on each page in 16 different languages! Families who speak non-English languages are encouraged to come and share their language of love with others. David will read, sign books, and answer questions from kids and grown-ups alike. He will also lead an art workshop using his unique "wordpictures" technique and letterforms. Designed for the whole family and presented at a time convenient for most working parents.
