UNESCO City of Literature
UNESCO, the educational, scientific and cultural arm of the United Nations, has recognized Iowa City�s deeply elaborated cultural assets and its strong creative and economic foundations. Iowa City is home to a vibrant community of readers, writers and bookmakers.
Summer of the Arts
Summer of the Arts is a series of free and family-friendly events held annualy in downtown Iowa City. The Library's Children's Day event is part of the Iowa Arts Festival event.
ECO Iowa City
ECO Iowa City is a grant-funded initiative to improve environmental sustainability in Iowa City. ECO Iowa City provides a series of opportunities for Iowa City residents, including hands-on workshops, programs and seminars to offer information and free resources.
