807. Media Use Policy

807.1 | The purpose of the Media Use Policy is to assure audiovisual equipment necessary for use of collections is available either onsite or for checkout. Library collections include materials in a variety of formats, some requiring equipment for their use. |
807.2 | Equipment is provided for, but is not restricted to, the use of Library materials. |
807.3 | The library is not responsible for damage to personal equipment from use of Library materials or for damage to personal materials used on Library equipment. |
807.4 | Equipment users are responsible for damage to equipment or Library materials and may be billed for amounts up to the cost of repair or replacement. |
807.5 | Motion pictures rated "R" or "NC 17" by the Motion Picture Association of America and personal or non-library visual materials may not be viewed in the Children's Room. |
807.6 | The total number of patrons viewing a work will be limited to comply with public performance guidelines. |
807.7 | Time and use limits may be placed on in-house equipment in order to provide access to as many users as possible or where accommodating software requirements is impractical. |
