Services
At Home Services provides materials by mail and is available for residents of Iowa City and contracting areas of rural Johnson County, Hills and University Heights who are unable to come to the Library because of a physical disability. Contact the Help Desk for more information.
Sign Language Interpreters for Library programming will be arranged upon request. Contact the Help Desk for details.
Assistive Devices and Technology
Aladdin Text Magnifiers, which illuminate and magnify text, are located on the Library's second floor. Contact the Reference Desk for further information.
Closed Captioned Televisions are located in the Listening and Viewing Stations on the first and second floor. The television is connected to VCR and DVD player.
Hearing Augmentation Systems are available in Meeting Room A and the Training Lab. For details, contact the Help Desk. Please call ahead.
Hand-held Magnifiers are available for use in the Library from the Reference Desk.
A Wheelchair is available for patrons while using the Library. Contact the Help Desk for details.

Collections
eBooks and eAudio bookss are available for residents of Iowa City and contracting areas of rural Johnson County, Hills, University Heights and Coralville. Contact the Help Desk or Reference Desk for further information.
Large Print Books are located on the first floor. The Large Print collection can also be browsed using our online catalog.
Recorded Books on Disc, including Children's, Fiction and Nonfiction are available.
