by showing your Iowa City Public Library card
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (except July 4)
June 5 - August 9, 2007, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Anyone can ride the Library Bus for free by presenting an Iowa City Public Library card or by paying the regular fee of 75¢ for adults or 50¢ for youth (K-12).

How to Get a Library Card
New borrowers must show a photo ID and proof of residence address (a Post Office box is not sufficient). Acceptable ways to prove residence are a current driver’s license, voter registration card, a piece of mail postmarked within the last two weeks, or a current lease.
Children of any age are eligible for library cards. If accompanied by a parent, the parent must show ID and proof of residence. If unaccompanied, the child must be able to give complete application information. A letter will be sent to a parent of children in 6th grade or younger about the child’s receipt of a card and to confirm address. Children 7th grade and up not accompanied by a parent must show a photo ID (issued at local schools) and proof of residence.
