I honestly can't believe how people rank this book as a best seller. Sure, it's interesting, but if you think about it, it's just a basic plot twisted around. It's too dramatic. It's too romantic. It's too, dare I say it, fake. Then again, I'm not completely going to diss the book. Meyer definitely has something; she keeps her readers interested (at least through her first book) and she has a good style. While definitely not as good as Austin of Tolkien, she's still a good writer. I congratulate her on that. Only that. Read it when you have time, and if you don't have time, it's not a major loss.
