Here’s a novel idea: take the night off from preparing dinner and go out to eat. Better yet, have dinner out and support the Iowa City Public Library Friends Foundation at the same time.
The Foundation has partnered with local restaurants for a fun fundraising program: Eat Out to Read.
Each Wednesday in January, mention Iowa City Public Library while dining in or taking out at Pagliai’s Pizza, 302 E. Bloomington St., and the Library will receive 25 percent of your ticket.
