Mark your calendars now for the Iowa City Public Library Friends Foundation’s Big Book Bash at Big Grove Brewery. This all-ages event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, at the Brewery, 1225 S. Gilbert St.
Library lovers are invited to come, eat and talk all things books, including how support from the community makes ICPL better. The Bookmobile will be on site for tours and there will be opportunities to win prizes, too. Donations of gently read children's books will be accepted for The Book End store inside the ICPL.
The Big Book Bash is a Big Grove for Good event. A percentage of the night's food and beverage sales will be donated to the Friends Foundation.
