Press ReleaseICPL Friends Foundation to host Looking Forward fundraiser

The board of the Iowa City Public Library Friends Foundation invites the public to attend Looking Forward, the annual fundraiser for the Library.

This year’s event will be held on Sunday, April 22, at the Library. It is designed to expand horizons, achieve support through reservations and attendance, and continue to build long-standing camaraderie among the Library’s devotees.

This year’s Earth Day celebration fundraiser begins at 6 p.m. with “The Art of Yellowstone Science.” Author Dr. Bruce Fouke’s presentation will feature beautiful photography and easy-to-understand science, allowing attendees to see why Fouke considers Mammoth Hot Springs a window to the universe. Afterwards, guests will be treated to appetizers and beverages with other Library friends.

The cost to attend Looking Forward is $125 per person and reservations are required. Visit https://icplff.ejoinme.org/looking-forward to make a reservation. Reservations must be received by April 13.
