Press ReleaseNintendo Switch added to ICPL’s video game collection

The Iowa City Public Library recently added Nintendo Switch to its young adult and juvenile video game collection.

Nintendo Switch is designed to go wherever gamers go, with the ability to transform from home console to portable system. The games join others in the Library’s collection, which includes Nintendo Wii and Wii U, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and Sony Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.

All video games in the Library’s collection may be checked out for one week. There is a two games per person limit. Video games may be renewed once if a patron has not placed a hold request on the item. The fine for late video games is $1 per day.
