Tech & creativity events for adults in December

We hope you'll find time to join us for some fun things in the Digital Media Lab in December!

Make a Custom Coloring Page

Tuesday 12/7, 6-7pm in the Digital Media Lab

Let's make custom coloring pages by digitally tracing your photos in Photoshop using a Wacom drawing tablet.  Bring a couple photos of your pets, family, house, vacation spots, etc.

Registration required.

Intermediate Photoshop

Thursday 12/9, 7-8pm in the Digital Media Lab

Learn how to do compositing -- combining parts of two photos into one -- in this intermediate-level class, designed for people who have taken the beginner's class or already have those skills.

Registration required.

Tech Savvy Guide to Plant Parenthood

Monday 12/13, 7-8pm in the Digital Media Lab

See how your phone can help you keep your houseplants alive, plus pick up some basic plant care tips and tricks.  This is a good chance to mingle with other plant parents!

Scanning Basics

Thursday 12/16, 2-3pm in the Digital Media Lab

Learn how to scan documents, photos, film, and slides at the library.

Registration required.

Bad Art Night

Monday 12/27, 5:30-7 in the Digital Media Lab

A night filled with making intentionally-bad art for adults and teens!  Join us for art prompts that will get your creative juices flowing, allowing you to create a final, awful "masterpiece."  (Okay, this one isn’t about “technology,” but it should be hilarious!)

Finally, our Digital Media Lab Help Hours will vary around the holidays, so please check the calendar before you come in for assistance.

Any questions or suggestions?  Let stacey-mckim@icpl.org know!
