Storytime Room
In honor of upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, watch a collection of short films focused on Black History, racial equity, and social justice. Following the film festival, families can work together on a service project benefiting the Iowa City community. Decorate cookies for the Free Lunch Program; create postcards for our elected officials urging them to take action for racial equality; and assemble care packages for the homeless. In addition, you are invited to bring a non-perishable food item for the Crisis Center food bank.
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
