In this opening conference for the Sawyer Seminar, we will invite up to six nationally recognized scholars of Latina/o/x studies to help frame the larger scope of our conversation.
The first set of speakers will address the global scale of Latinidades, paying particular attention to the historical, philosophical, cultural, and mediated flows of Latinitades across national boundaries and within the world-system. The second set of speakers focuses on the United States.
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
