The 2019 Summer Reading Program theme is a Universe of Stories, so we will be doing out of this world crafts on Sundays all summer long! Today's activity will be a sensory one as we use aluminum foil to create little moons! The bumpy foil texture is a great representation of the craters found on the moon, while the shiny appearance helps to demonstrate how the light from the sun reflects off the moon. Sunday Fun Days are designed for children and their families to enjoy together.
