10/05/2019 10:00am 10/05/2019 11:00am Iowa City Book Festival 2019: Dr. Angela Williamson Dr. Angela Williamson, an award-winning independent filmmaker, speaker, and adjunct instructor in the Communication Studies Department at Concordia University Irvine, will speak about her book, Women Who Illuminate, and show a short clip of her documentary film, “My Life With Rosie,” about her cousin, Rosa Parks. The Iowa City Book Festival is organized by the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature. Iowa City is one of just 20 Cities of Literature in the world, and the Iowa City Book Festival celebrates books and writing by leveraging the unique mix of local resources that helped to earn that designation.
