Do you have houseplants you'd like to share? Want to add some diversity to your collection? Join us for the first ICPL Houseplant Swap! Each person may bring up to 5 healthy houseplants or bagged rooted cuttings. Plant drop off time is from 10 to 10:30 am and the Swap begins at 11. You'll get one ticket per donated plant, and each ticket will get you one new plant to take home. At 11:30, or once all tickets are claimed, if there are any plants left they will be free for the taking. Members of the Johnson County Master Gardeners will be here to answer questions about houseplants. There will be no re-potting at the event. Please only bring plants in pots to give away with the plant. Rooted cuttings may come in containers of water or in a ziploc bag with damp paper towels. Please label your plants if possible. Also bring a grocery bag or two to protect your new plants from the chill on the way home. Iowa City Public Library Iowa City Public Library America/Chicago public
