The 2020 Census is coming up - join us to make crafts involving counting and patterns, things the U.S. Census Bureau uses to make sure everyone in America is counted. Pick up Census information and a free giveaway, too!
The U.S. Census counts every single person living in America. The first one was in 1790, and it's happened every 10 years since then. The census form asks a few questions about each person who lives in your home. This information is kept confidential - no one can get in trouble for their answers. The information is used to produce statistical data that guides the distribution of money for highway construction, Head Start, natural disaster preparedness, housing assistance for older adults, and more.
Sunday Fun Days are designed for children and their families to enjoy together.
