09/01/2020 2:00pm 09/01/2020 6:00pm Totally Tweens: Ice-Dyed Pillowcases Register for a craft kit containing supplies to ice-dye a pillowcase! What is ice dye, you ask? It's a tie-dye technique that uses powdered dye, ice, and time to create a colorful dyed fabric piece with surprising results! All you'll need to provide is plenty of ice, a rack/grate of some kind (colander, cookie cooling rack, etc.) and a tray or pan (cookie sheet, plastic tote lid, etc.). We'll set you up with a couple colors of dye, gloves, plastic spoons, and a plain white pillowcase to dye, plus an instruction sheet. Register here and then stop by and pick up your craft kit August 31 - September 5 anytime during our curbside pickup open hours (Mon - Fri 2pm - 6pm; Sat 10am - 1pm), or have the kit mailed to you free of charge. Then, craft the project at home anytime you choose! Email us a photo when you're done and we'll share it on our social media. Get ready to rest your head on a one-of-a-kind work of handmade art!
