02/18/2021 4:00pm 02/18/2021 5:00pm Totally Tweens: Foldscopes Tweens in grades 3-6, come one, come all! Dive into the microscopic world, unseen by the naked eye. Peer through a Foldscope (paper microscope) that allows you to look at plant cells, tiny insects, pond water, and even your own skin, all at 140X magnification! Register for this event by clicking the green button above. You'll receive an email with instructions for how to pick up the kit you'll need for this program, which will contain your Foldscope and slides. Then, join educators Briante and Sarah of the Iowa City Science Booster Club on Zoom where we will learn how to use the Foldscopes, draw what we see, and share and discuss our drawings.
