During this month's Craft and Chat, we're adding the opportunity to make some Valentine’s Day art!
Register here to reserve a set of collage materials. We'll craft collages together during the Zoom event, but attendance isn't required. And if you're a regular at our Virtual Craft & Chats, you can continue with your own projects -- we won't force you to make a Valentine!
The craft kits will contain a plain card, envelope, and papers on these themes:
- Ageless Valentines: Historical ads, images, and poetry from local Iowa City newspapers
- Library Love: Romance novel covers to mix and match people, and a page from a romance novel for cutting out or doing blackout poetry
- Anti-Valentine: Sassy candy heart images, galentine's hearts, and single solidarity messages
Not sure who to make a Valentine for? We’ll collect extra Valentines and deliver them to a local senior living center.
