As the series evolves there'll be opportunities to learn, create and share what you know with others. In March we're talking gardening. Have you heard of microgreens? They're the sprouts of adult plants and can be up 40 times more nutrient-dense than their grown-up counterparts! This time we'll talk seed starting- what you'll need to make healthy and happy little microgreens. This program is for Young Adults interested in learning about how to garden. We'll talk seed starting, planting, transplanting, harvesting and seed saving. Gardening is a great stress reliever and learning to grow your own food is so rewarding. If you have experience gardening, come along and share what you know. Seed starting kits will be available for pickup beginning Monday, March 22nd and include, seed starting mix, a mix of seeds, plant labels and a container. Kits are available on a first come first serve basis. No gardening experience is necessary and we'll walk through the seed starting process via Zoom on March 29th at 6:30 pm.
