04/13/2021 7:00pm 04/13/2021 8:00pm Let's Talk Books: Detective Fiction Detective Fiction has been around for centuries. From Edgar Allan Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Agatha Christie to Robert Galbraith, Tana French, or Sue Grafton Detective Fiction is a subset of the Mystery Genre. Usually more than a simple 'whodunit" with clues to follow and a crime to solve, Detective Fiction can be hardboiled or amateur, humorous or supernatural and anywhere in between. What are some of your favorites? Not quite a book group, Let's Talk Books is a series of casual conversations about books where we meet to share descriptions of our favorite reads. Join us for your favorite genres to chat with like-minded readers. Bring a couple of recommendations to share or just show up to hear what everyone else loves! Register here to reserve your spot for the discussion. Our video chat gathering will take place in Zoom, and you’ll receive an email with login details in advance. Everyone is welcome.
