Join us for our next event, where we'll discuss Bill Bryson's "A Walk in the Woods." An oldie-but-goodie from 1984, Publisher's Weekly summarizes:

"Returning to the U.S. after 20 years in England, Iowa native Bryson decided to reconnect with his mother country by hiking the length of the 2100-mile Appalachian Trail. Awed by merely the camping section of his local sporting goods store, he nevertheless plunges into the wilderness and emerges with a consistently comical account of a neophyte woodsman learning hard lessons about self-reliance."

We'll meet up outside of Brix, which is located at 209 N. Linn St., around 7 p.m. We will make use of the tables in the outdoor seating area that is in the closed-off portion of the street. In case of rain, we will meet via Zoom, and a link will be sent out the day of.

Copies are located in the collection, including unlimited ebook and eaudio in Overdrive.
