11/01/2021 7:00pm 11/01/2021 8:30pm A bilingual reading of Hector Abad Faciolince's work Hector Abad Faciolince is a Colombian novelist, journalist and public intellectual who will be visiting UI as an Ida Beam Fellow. At this event he will read from his work in Spanish and an MFA student will read from a translation of his work in English, after which he will take questions from the audience in English and in Spanish. Prairie Lights will bring copies of his best known books to sell at the event. This event is sponsored by the UI Department of Spanish and the Iowa City Public Library and will be streamed live on the Library's Youtube Channel.
