In honor of Dr. King's legacy, a partnership of corridor community organizations are hosting a panel titled "Red-Lined and Side-Lined: Histories of Housing- Hoping for Home". This program is held virtually. Featured guests include Cedar Rapids City Manager, Jeff Pomeranz, community advocate and volunteer, Betty Johnson, HUD Director Kitty Amaya, Neighborhood Building Assistant at Matthew 25, TonyaMarie Adams, and Executive Director of Matthew 25, Clint Twedt-Ball. Panelists will discuss the history of redlining practices and how they have impacted American cities today.
