In a captivating slide show, she acquaints, or reacquaints, audiences with the beauty of this magical and mysterious place, where a ghost or spirit seems to lurk around every corner. Michele then discusses Prague’s haunted history; why Prague is probably the most haunted city in the world; and the extraordinary power of legend. Finally, she talks about what she hopes her book will accomplish and then offers an entertaining, Halloween appropriate, reading from Haunted Prague. Michele is a professional writer of Slovak descent and has served as speechwriter for the President’s Cabinet and the United States Senate, among others. She was also a Fulbright Scholar in Eastern European economics and a former National Champion in collegiate public speaking. Her presentation on Haunted Prague is designed to capture and convey Prague’s images and imagination, provide some fascinating stories from Czech history—and delight anyone who enjoys a spooky tale about things that go bump in the night!
