08/30/2022 7:00pm 08/30/2022 8:00pm B.Y.O.Book--The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel

Join us at our August event, where we discuss Emily St. John Mandel's "The Glass Hotel." Publisher's Weekly says: "Mandel’s wonderful novel (after Station Eleven) follows a brother and sister as they navigate heartache, loneliness, wealth, corruption, drugs, ghosts, and guilt. Settings include British Columbia’s coastal wilderness, New York City’s fashionable neighborhoods and corporate headquarters, a container ship in international waters, and a South Carolina prison...This ingenious, enthralling novel probes the tenuous yet unbreakable bonds between people and the lasting effects of momentary carelessness."

Grab a print copy from our regular collection, or get an ebook or eaudio from Overdrive (there will be unlimited downloads the month before the event.)

At this point, we will plan on meeting in the outdoor seating area near Brix, on the 200 block of North Linn St. However, if the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll change it to Zoom and a link will be sent out to those who are registered.
