Anyone in grade 7-12 is welcome to join us as we start the planting season here at the Iowa City Public Library. We'll be working with Grow Johnson County and throughout the gardening season we'll start seeds, transplant, maintain, harvest and save the season. You can attend one or all of the sessions.
Thursday June 2nd, 3 pm-5 pm: Transplanting Warm Season Crops
Thursday July 28th, 3 pm-5 pm: Harvesting and Seed Saving
Any level of gardening experience is welcome and all supplies will be provided. We'll meet by the Ped mall gardens and we'll be working with soil and plants so dress accordingly. We'll have some gardening glove available, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
