Meeting Room A
Guest Tyler Baird, IC Superintendent of Parks & Forestry, will highlight the role native prairie plants can play in a perennial garden. Benefits of prairie natives will be discussed along with creative ways to include them in your gardens. Examples of prairie plants used around downtown Iowa City and in the park system will be shown in photographs throughout the seasons. Leave inspired to add some new plants to your garden this year.
We will also have a special display from the Tallgrass Prairie Center at the University of Northern Iowa.
