01/11/2023 5:00pm 01/11/2023 7:00pm Teen Create-It: Milagros Tin Folk- Inspired Art Each Wednesday from 5-7 pm an art or craft project will be led by a member of the Teen Services Staff or a community specialist. All supplies will be provided and no experience is necessary. If you aren't able to make it to the program, the supplies and project will be available for the entirety of the week in the Teen Space, beginning the Monday that starts the week (please note, if the project involves sharp tools or hazardous equipment, a staff member will need to be present to complete the craft). "Milagros," translated from the Spanish into English means "miracles". This week we'll learn a little about the history of this art form and make one ourselves. Please be aware that the tin will be very sharp and it it advised that you exercise caution with this project. All supplies will be provided and no experience is necessary.
