Library EventBooks to Cooks Club: Skeleton for Dinner

Join us on the second Tuesday of every month for a new Books to Cooks Club, where read a picture book and make a delicious after school snack from the story! This program is for K-6th grade.

First we'll read a spooky, silly tale set in a graveyard, Margery Cuyler's "Skeleton for Dinner!" Big Witch and Little Witch have made stew, and now they want to have their friends for dinner! But when Skeleton mistakes the guest list for a menu, he takes off running, and soon Ghost and Ghoul join him too!

After the story, each kid will get to create a custom graveyard dirt cup with spooky tombstones, bones and worms! Please let staff be aware of any food allergies if attending any Books to Cooks Club programs.

首先，我们一起读一个发生在墓地的搞笑恐怖故事：玛格丽·凯勒的《骷髅晚餐！》。大女巫和小女巫已经做好了炖菜，准备邀请朋友们来吃饭了！然而当骷髅在宾客名单看到自己的名字时，却误以为那是菜单吓的开始逃跑，很快幽灵鬼和食尸鬼也跟着一起逃跑！
故事结束后，小朋友们可以用怪异的墓碑、骨头和蠕虫拼制一个特别的墓地杯！如有食物过敏史，请告知工作人员。
