Fun costumes are encouraged and we will have silly props available as we read LGBTQ stories and sing and dance with some local drag kings and queens. Designed for the whole family and presented at a time convenient for most working parents. After Storytime, pop outside for the start of the Iowa City Pride Parade at noon! Storytime includes both shorter and longer stories combined with action games and activities. Family Storytime is recommended for all ages, but parents are asked to sit with their younger children.
