The ICPL was a stop on Dan Wardell's Reading Road Trip! Crowds of excited kids joined us on Monday, June 27th at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. to meet this incredible TV celebrity, who is hitting the road this summer to visit libraries across Iowa as part of “Dan's Reading Road Trip.”

Dan Wardell is producer and host of Kids Clubhouse on Iowa Public Television. His adventures take him to schools and libraries across the state, teaching kids to turn off their TVs, go outside and play, use their imaginations, and most importantly, to read a good book. Dan's Reading Road Trip is an exclusive 70 stop library tour each summer, and has performed for thousands of kids and grownups during the past several years.
