Book to Art Club is the fourth Tuesday of every month for school age children. Each month we will read a picture book and create custom art inspired by the story!
Let's read a story that celebrates the beauty of nature for Earth Day. Explore the hidden world and many lives of a garden through the course of a year in "Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt" by Kate Messner. For our art project, we will create collage flowers and paint a garden scene highlighting the wonders that lie hidden between stalks, under the shade of leaves...and down in the dirt.
