Dr. Lena M. Hill, Sr. Associate to the UI President and Dr. Michael D. Hill, UI Associate Professor of English and African American Studies, will discuss the creation of the 2016 book "Invisible Hawkeyes: African Americans at the University of Iowa During the Long Civil Rights Era." What was it like to be black and a student at Iowa during the 1930s - 1960s?
