12/07/2020 10:00am 12/07/2020 11:00am Totally Tweens: DIY Galaxy Coasters Tweens in grades 3-6, register for a take and make craft kit containing everything you need to make a paint pour drink coaster! The kit contains a ceramic tile and several colors of special ready-to-pour acrylic paint, along with some glitter. Follow the included instructions to pour and swirl the paint, then sprinkle with glitter to create a cool "galaxy" look. Once dry, your tile can be purely decorative or serve as a coaster for a drink glass. Give it as a holiday gift or keep it for yourself! Register for a kit by clicking the green button above. Kits can be picked up in the library lobby anytime 10am-6pm during the week of December 7-12. Just give your child's name and let them know the name of the event. Registration includes an ICPL mug!
