You recently moved to Stoneybrook and became the newest member of the Baby-Sitter's Club. At your first sitting job, a blizzard came out of nowhere, knocked out the power, and blew the door closed, which has locked from the outside! Now you're trapped in the children's playroom, in the dark, with a dead cellphone and two frightened young charges. You have to find your way out of the playroom and calm the kids down before their parents get home or you'll never baby-sit in this town again.
Use your wits and work in groups to solve puzzles, answer trivia questions, and crack codes so you can escape the twins' playroom. If you love the outrageously popular Baby-Sitter's Club graphic novels, the classic 1990s chapter book series, or the fun new Netflix show, this event is for you.
Registration is not required for this event. This event is for children in grades 3-6 only. Masks are required at this event.
***If needed due to group size, we will have two identical escape rooms running concurrently in Meeting Room A and Meeting Room D. If attendance exceeds 20 or so tweens so that even two rooms are not enough, we will have an alternate activity in the Storytime Room from 4-4:30ish for the excess tweens, then bring that group into the escape room as soon as the first group finishes. Escape rooms are all about flexibility!
