Join us to discuss Patrick Radden Keefe's book Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty. Published in 2021, Keefe takes a long, serious look at the family who, through their pharmaceutical business, created and pushed the drug Oxycontin, while also tacking the long history of making money on people's pain and misery. The author is as meticulous in his reserach as he is a masterful storyteller.
