Today a special guest from the University of Iowa Youth Ballet and Community Dance School will offer a unique program of dance and creative movement. This class is tailored to meet the developmental needs of children according to their age. Our teachers employ pretend play, visualization, and safe stretches to help young dancers learn. Activities that tap into children's natural abilities build their physical, social, and cognitive skills. Kids ages 4-6 will enjoy this program most. Classes at the school feature live piano accompaniment and so will today's dance program!
The University of Iowa Youth Ballet and Community Dance School fosters the love, practice and instruction of movement as an integral part of health and well-being. The program also encourages and nurtures artistic expression.

Hoy, un invitado especial de la Universidad de Iowa Youth Ballet and Community Dance School ofrecerá un programa único de danza y movimiento creativo. Esta clase está diseñada para satisfacer las necesidades de desarrollo de los niños según su edad. Nuestros maestros utilizan el juego imaginario, la visualización y estiramientos seguros para ayudar a los jóvenes bailarines a aprender. Las actividades que aprovechan las habilidades naturales de los niños desarrollan sus habilidades físicas, sociales y cognitivas. Los niños de 4 a 6 años disfrutarán especialmente de este programa. ¡Las clases en la escuela cuentan con acompañamiento de piano en vivo y lo mismo ocurrirá en el programa de danza de hoy!
