We are Students for Human Rights at Iowa, a student organization at the University of Iowa focusing on protecting and promoting human rights locally, nationally, and internationally. In light of recent legislation regarding banned books in the state of Iowa, we created a Banned Books Club that can provide information, resources, and support to the greater Iowa City community. In doing so, we hope to advance human rights locally and foster a community in which all individuals' identities are celebrated.
