Book to Art Club is the fourth Tuesday of every month for school age children. Each month we will read a picture book and create custom art inspired by the story!
March is Women's History Month, so for our art project this month we honor one of the most influential female artists in the world, Yayoi Kusama. Our picture book read is "Yayoi Kusama: From Here to Infinity", a biography with lively illustrations that reflect the brilliant colors and serene poetry of the artist’s work. For the art project, we'll create colorful collages that imitate Kusama's series of mushroom paintings.
