08/13/2024 7:00pm 08/13/2024 8:00pm Let's Talk Books: Psychological Suspense Psychological Suspense is often told from the point-of-view of a psychologically stressed character who's unstable or delusional mental or emotional state becomes more evident as the book unfolds. The plot may revolve around deception, manipulation, or mind games, sometimes resulting in extreme mental, emotional or psychological stress in the character. Plots don't only play with the characters' minds but often the reader's as well. Bring a few of your favorites and join us for the discussion. Let's Talk Books is not a traditional book group. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month on Zoom to talk about our favorite books in a specific genre or on a set topic, and we each come away with some new titles to add to our too-be-read lists. Register here and you'll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom login details. You'll also get a reminder email a few days before the event. Everyone is welcome!
