10/09/2017 1:00pm 10/09/2017 3:00pm Grades K-5 Painting Workshop: Iowa Sky Color with Big Picture Art Studio Presenter: Becky Popelka Come to the Iowa City Library on this No School Day for a fun afternoon of painting and stories! We will dive into Peter Reynolds wonderful book, Sky Color, and take a look at the landscapes of Iowa artist, Grant Wood, who painted the rural scenes of our beautiful state. Each participant will get to create their own "Iowa Sky Color" painting under the guidance of Becky Popelka, MFA, Director of Big Picture Gallery & Studio.
