Storytime Room
In honor of Black History Month, join us for a storytime celebration of the classic children's book The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. Published in 1962, The Snowy Day was the first mainstream picture book to feature an African-American protagonist. We'll read the book and enjoy some songs and rhymes celebrating the wonder of snow, plus watch a short film and even have an indoor snowball fight!
This interactive storytime for all ages and stages combines books, rhymes, songs, and movement. Join us for fun and early literacy enrichment!
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
