Dasia Taylor, Iowa City West High School senior, invented color-changing medical sutures that detect whether a patient's wound is infected. She is taking her new invention to a national math and science competition this spring and working on patenting it as well. Join Dasia as she shares her work, answers your questions, and then build a "bacteria plate" of your own - that you can eat!
This event is for kids in grades 3-6. Pick up your kit of supplies during the week leading up to the event, anytime the library is open!
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
