We'll enjoy a 30-minute excerpt of a different book each month, and then do an activity based on the book. Plus, cookies will be served! For our September meeting, we'll read "The Stonewall Riots: Making a Stand for LGBTQ Rights," published in 2022 as part of the History Comics nonfiction graphic novel series! Then, we'll make flower crowns as a tribute to Marsha P. Johnson, a Black trans activist and advocate we'll learn about in the book.
